Pretty Old Tree
Posing for the Camera?
Beautiful Even in Winter
In Summer Dress
It is Morning Walk Time again (finally) after days of rain. Walking in the sunshine makes me so very happy. Sunshine almost always makes me high. Is it ok to say that? Winter and spring are having their annual tug-of-war, but I know who will win!
The tree above is one I have photographed quite a few times. The winter ones I took yesterday and I have put the summer one in so you can see how it looks fully clothed. It is so lovely. I do not know how to express my attraction to trees. I just like them.
Click on the link below to see a video of another tree I saw yesterday that I didn’t notice before. It is SO TALL, and unique with its twin trunks.

Sometimes we need to go looking for beauty. If we don’t choose to look for it, we may forget that it exists. If you cannot find it in your immediate surroundings, look to the sky– sunsets and sunrises, stars, or clouds. Look to the blossoming weeds. Look at someone’s eyes. But there is beautify to be found.
God is the source of true beauty. He can make beauty out of ashes.
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
I get a magazine from American Bird Conservancy because I once ordered some strips to put on my sliding glass doors. The strips help prevent birds from crashing into the glass. The magazine has photos of exquisite birds from around the globe.
